Designing in 3D

A very cool thing about 3D is that you see before you build. For an architect or interior designer this is an incredible tool, allowing the manipulation of both built form and texture. It is also an amazing way to show a client the design before final plans are drawn.

Archiform 3D can be used to aid in the design process but we will charge more to cover the additional time it takes to work through the alterations. Most clients find the fee is well worth the investment.

Examples of projects that used Archiform 3D throughout the design phase are below:

Affiniti Architecture This project was created from some design drawings and manipulated over a week in 3D to get the perfect shape.
National Fitness Center This fitness center was layed out and manipulated in 3D.
Mink While this designer doesnt need much help there were design revisions after the first renderings were made.
Palm House A renovation and converstion of a small hotel. This project had many changes in direction once the lobby and hotel rooms were rendered.
Sentosa Island bid by Eighth Wonder Modeled from just sketches, Harry's Island was developed on the fly.
Villas of Aventura The structure of this building had been locked down but the interior was designed from scratch in 3D.
4 Room Renderings A scene of 4 rooms for a display at a show.
Athens A series of 3D Renderings of a bar.
Rock Sugar 3D Architectural Renderings of a new restaurant concept. The design was finalized once it became visual.
Coconut Grove A condo development in North Queensland, Australia. Much of this project was revised once the exterior renderings were created.
Key Biscayne A simple mass model study of a new building form proposal. This project has Architectural Renderings and some 3D camera tracked animation.
Sunset at Galloway Architectural Renderings of a commercial renovation project. This client had NO IDEA as to what he wanted and was designing on the fly.
