Intro

Capturing the significance and excitement of the original Chevron Hotel, redefined to a new level of luxury and contemporary lifestyle, The Towers of Chevron Renaissance has made Surfers ... Paradise once more. The three majestic towers will rise to a height of 50 levels, dominating the new Surfers skyline and providing a visual expression of renewal.

Inside a fabulous range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments offer every luxury amenity. While outside a private sanctuary of manicured lawns, elaborate gardens, tropical beaches and expansive pools provide a buffer from the bustle of Surfers Paradise below. At your doorstep are the cosmopolitan delights of the Chevron Renaissance shopping and dining precinct, with leisure and entertainment choices to satisfy your every mood. Within easy reach of the beach, shopping, theme parks, the Casino, 18 international standard golf courses and all the other attractions of the Gold Coast.

3D Details

A 3 tower resort/residential development in the heart of Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia.

We created 3D architectural renderings and animations of the exterior and interior of 2 apartments. This also involved view capture and photomontage work. Our client saw the advantages of using our complete service and our "complete scene" workflow.

All interior Archiform 3D architectural renderings are pure 3D with no photo objects and are radiosity rendered. The fly through animations have the same quality as the stills, giving us a clear lead in moving picture presentations and providing a complete set of portfolio of images for each project within the normal price structure.

The client also had us prepare steadicam footage of the existing tower and create a corporate video production, all for inclusion on an interactive DVD presentation. Most of this was shot on our steadicam system, allowing us flexibility and speed of production. The result was an interactive DVD tour that could be sent anywhere in the world to aid in offshore sales presentations.

The corporate presentation consisted of extensive filming of previous projects from the ground and air. This, due to time restraints imposed by overseas presentations, was shot in just 2 weeks and edited the week after. Our all digital workflow helped significantly as we were able to edit footage each night after shooting if needed. As of 2005 all Archiform 3D video productions and TV commercials are shot on digital high definition, ensuring a previously unmatched clarity and flexibility combination.

3D Renderings of External Scenes

You can select drapes, pots, indoor plants and almost any item to enhance the scene. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.
