Project: Gateway on Palmer (2004)

Gateway on Palmer is Townsville’s next generation in resort-style, managed and residential apartment accommodation. A 12 storey tower on the waterfront with a key CBD - fringe location. 112 apartments: - 24 residential - 88 managed.

A resort/residential development in north Queensland. We created 3D renderings, photomontage images and animations of the exterior and interior of 2 apartments. This also involved view capture and photomontage work. Our client saw the advantages of using our complete service and our "complete scene" workflow.

All interior Archiform 3D renderings are pure 3D with no photo objects and are radiosity rendered. The animations have the same quality as the stills, giving us a clear lead in moving picture presentations and providing a complete set of portfolio of images for each project within the normal price structure.

The client also had us prepare a basic video production with location footage.

Architectural Renderings of Exteriors

Creating an external 3D Image requires the combination of many elements. Trees and landscaping are particularly important to the scene. Archiform 3D creates detailed models of plants down to the leaf. While this may take considerably more human time and computer resources the results are amazing. Each piece of furniture is carefully sculptured from originals and includes fabric samples from the original or to your choice.Decoratoration items and personal accessories are also created in 3D and placed carefully throughout the scenes. We then light the scene to enhance realism and create dramatic effects.

The culmination of these creates 3D Images and walk-through animations that are often dramatically better than reality. What is worth remembering is that our walk-through animations of these interior scenes is to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our still 3D Architectural Renderings .
