Oceans (2004)

A beachfront hi-rise resort on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. We created 3D renderings and animations of the exterior, a retail area and interior of 2 apartments. This also involved view capture and photomontage work. Our client saw the advantages of using our complete service and our "complete scene" workflow.

All interior Archiform 3D renderings are pure 3D with no photo objects and are radiosity rendered. The animations have the same quality as the stills, giving us a clear lead in moving picture presentations and providing a complete set of portfolio of images for each project within the normal price structure.

Although the client didn't order photomontage we saw it as such a good opportunity and so worthwhile we shot it while onsite doing the views. We pride ourselves on over-delivering through our scene building techniques rather than nitpicking over inclusions. Also note the camera tracking n the beginning of the movie (WMV format) that shows the building blended into real aerial footage.

The two photomontage shots, one from the oceanfront and one at night are typical of our philosophy of telling a story. Professional photography isn't just about having a great camera, it's knowing how and when to use it.

As can be seen in this presentation, the interior scheme chosen by the client is very white, modern and minimalist.

Landscape and Exterior 3D Renderings

3D Renderings of external scenes combine many elements. 3D vegetation is important to the scene.Archiform 3D models detailed plants down to the stems and leaves. Considerably more artist and computer workstation time is required to create this level of detail but the results are superb. You see this effort the most in 3D animated video. Our Photo-Perfect standards dictate this attention to detail and quality.

3D Architectural Renderings with Photomontage

Often project better in 3D when merged with a real photo. Photomontage is the merging of Architectural Renderings with actual photographs from the site, forming a seamless combination. The finsihed Architectural Renderings are usually an alsmot perfect representation of reality. The photographs can be taken at any time of day or night and from any angle. We can cut around existing buildings and trees and we can add any proposed enhancements to the streetscape. We can also shoot the photos for you, which may requires= a full day shoot to capture the essence of the location. You can use another photographer to take the exosting photos or do it yourself.

3D Images of Interior Designs

Our internal Architectural Renderings are highly detailed and rich with warmth and quality. We create each piece of furniture from just photographs of the original and apply fabric samples of your choice. Smaller items like pictures, curtains, vases and decorator items are then added to the scene. Lighting the scene correctly and artistically is important to the scene, which happens after all the furniture is placed.

The skillful combinaton of these produces Architectural Renderings and Virtual Tours that are often more appealing than reality. What is noteworthy is that we create fly-through animations of interior scenes to the same quality as our 3D Images .
