Atlantis 3D animated presentation and renderings

Project location: Bahamas

Atlantis Resort is a world class and well known luxury resort in the Bahamas. Archiform 3D was engaged to prepare architectural renderings, 3D animations, a video production and some web site work.

Video production

The video production included a locaton shoot and a live presenter, which can be seen in the sample movies.

Exterior 3D artwork and animations

Using the architects plans and landscape design we modelled the new high-rise towers and incorporated the 3D model with real photography and video footage. We used camera tracking to create a stunning illusion of the 3D building in real location footage.

The exterior landscaping in these renderings and animations is made from real 3D models, which is a speciality of Archiform 3D. Most other companies use flat 3D plants that rotate to look at you - kind of like creepy eyes in a haunted house picture.

Interior 3D animations

The interior condo renderings of this project were created by the property developers interior designer. The brief was given to match the actual furniture and decor being used in the development. Three condo types were created as architectural renderings and 3D animations and then used within the video production, interactive DVD and website.

Virtual Reality DVD

We authored an interactive DVD for this project inclusive of dolls house floorplans. This presentation is for use in a sales suite and for hand outs to new buyers.

3D Renderings of Exterior Scenes

Building and landscape 3D Renderings are a combination of many complex 3D elements. Trees and plants are extremely important to every external scene. Archiform 3D uniqueness comes in that we concentrate on detailed tree and plant modelling, right down to the leaves and flowers. This requires much more effort to create than the typical flat face plants that other companies use, but the results are far superior. This is most evident in 3D fly-through animations. Archiform 3D’s Photo-Perfect standard dictates this detail and finish.

3D Images of Interior Scenes

Archiform 3D creates interior 3D Renderings with care, precision and artistic inspiration. We model each piece of furniture in 3D from just pictures of the originals and apply scanned fabric from real-world samples. Decorator and small accessories are also created in 3D and placed thoughfully within the scene. Lighting the scene correctly and artistically is important to the scene, which happens after all the furniture is placed.

This combination often gives better interior 3D Architectural Renderings than reality as we are not tied to the traditional limitations of photography. Archiform 3D has the ability to process 3D fly-through virtual tour animations to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our 3D Images .
