Atlantis 3D animated presentation and renderings

Project location: Bahamas

Atlantis Resort is a world class and well known luxury resort in the Bahamas. Archiform 3D was engaged to prepare architectural renderings, 3D animations, a video production and some web site work.

Video production

The video production included a locaton shoot and a live presenter, which can be seen in the sample movies.

Exterior 3D artwork and animations

Using the architects plans and landscape design we modelled the new high-rise towers and incorporated the 3D model with real photography and video footage. We used camera tracking to create a stunning illusion of the 3D building in real location footage.

The exterior landscaping in these renderings and animations is made from real 3D models, which is a speciality of Archiform 3D. Most other companies use flat 3D plants that rotate to look at you - kind of like creepy eyes in a haunted house picture.

Interior 3D animations

The interior condo renderings of this project were created by the property developers interior designer. The brief was given to match the actual furniture and decor being used in the development. Three condo types were created as architectural renderings and 3D animations and then used within the video production, interactive DVD and website.

Virtual Reality DVD

We authored an interactive DVD for this project inclusive of dolls house floorplans. This presentation is for use in a sales suite and for hand outs to new buyers.

Architectural Renderings of Exteriors

Exterior 3D scenes require many elements to complete the Architectural Renderings . The addition of high-quality 3D vegetation is of utmost importance. Individual leaves and branches are modelled by Archiform 3D to create each plant. This takes more effort gives a superior result to the typical flat photographs of trees that other companies use. 3D animated video is where this effort is most visible. It’s part of what separates our work into Photo-Perfect.

Interior Architectural Renderings

Archiform 3D approaches each interior 3D Renderings with detail, precision and artistic flare. The furniture is created from pictures of the originals, translated into 3D and textured with your choice of colors and fabrics. You can choose almost any kind of decorator accessory to enhance the scene, which we will model and add in 3D. After the furniture and accessories are added we carefully light the scene for mood and effect.

While often mistaken for photographs, our interior 3D Renderings often exceed them in quality and flexibility. What is worth remembering is that our fly-through 3D animations of these interior scenes is to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our still 3D Renderings .
