Interior 3D Renderings

Archiform 3D approaches each interior 3D Renderings with detail, precision and artistic flare. Each item of furniture is carefully modelled in 3D from pictures or catalogues and includes representations of original fabric samples. Decorator and accessories are also modelled in 3D and distributed carefully throughout the rooms. Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.

While often mistaken for photographs, our interior 3D Renderings often exceed them in quality and flexibility. What is noteworthy is that we create fly-through animations of interior scenes to the same quality as our 3D Renderings .

3D Renderings of Bedroom Scenes

The bedroom is normally most personal part of a home, so we want to make it feel like a place that you can see yourself sleeping or waking in. We achieve this by planning Camera Angles, detailing for realism and lighting with mood. We like to have a camera angle that shows an approach to the bed and possibly a window or balcony behind it. And we like the lighting to show either a place to go to sleep or wake up; night-time or morning time.

The most complex thing to create in a bedroom 3D Rendering is the bed and pillows. They need to be soft and flowing with small imperfections, wrinkles and bumps. This becomes difficult in that computers and 3D software are best at straight edges and normal curves, so a free form, almost organic shape is harder to model. Applying the fabric patterns to the bedding can also be challenging, as there is often a shape that must be maintained over the soft 3D Mesh.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This 3D Rendering has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see. There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama. Both techniques have their advantages.

A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs. The drawback is that this method shows no motion or change in view within an Animation. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
