3D Renderings of Exterior and Landscape Scenes

Creating an external 3D Rendering of a building or landscape requires the blending of many complex elements. Simulating landscaping is a particular challenge to our artist. Individual leaves and branches are modelled by Archiform 3D to create each plant. It takes hours longer to create each piece this way but the results are better. 3D Renderings are improved, but fly-through 3D animations and video is where the additional attention is most visible. It’s part of what separates our work into Photo-Perfect.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This scene has the real view from the actual project, which is a superb way of displaying what a buyer will actually see from a new condo, office or home. We can do this in 2 ways; a flat 2D image applied behind the 3D Scene or a 360-degree image wrapped around the 3D Model. The two methods have an effect on the overall price to do the job and specific advantages.

The reduced location and photography costs make simple 2D backgrounds appealing for still 3D Renderings . The downfall to this method is that it shows no motion or change in within an Animation. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly. Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
