Archiform 3Ds interior Computer Generated Images and fly-through animations are of high-quality and are carefully detailed. We model our furniture in 3D using photographs and fabric samples as guides. Decorator and small accessories are also created in 3D and placed thoughfully within the scene. We then light the scene to enhance realism and create dramatic effects.

The skillful combinaton of these produces 3D Images and virtual tours that are often more appealing than reality. Unique to Archiform 3D is our capability to process 3D fly-through animations to the same Photo-Perfect quality as our still Computer Generated Images .

Bedroom Scenes as Architectural Renderings

To us a bedroom scene must look like somewhere you could sleep in, so we aim for this when we first begin 3D modelling and laying out the room. The camera angle, lighting and detailing are how we attempt this. The viewer should see a familiar approach to the room and bed, with possibly something appealing, like a balcony, window or an inspiring view. And we like to lighting to show either sleeping time or waking up, so a low light dancing past the blinds is often a lovely morning touch.

The bedding and pillows are the hardest thing to create in a bedroom Computer Generated Image . They need to be soft and flowing with small imperfections, wrinkles and bumps. Computer 3D modelling is best at straight shapes or regular curves, so a finished bed is harder to create than most other pieces of furniture. The 3D modelling is not the only complex task as applying the fabrics to the bed can be challenging, especially if there is a pattern or mural that must be maintained.

Real Views in Computer Generated Images

Looking from this viewpoint you may notice that the real view is in the background. There are two methods to achieve this; as a flat 2D image applied to the background or as a 360-degree panoramic photograph wrapped around like a drum. Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages, ranging from a lower price to a better result in animations.

A simple 2D photographic background costs less to capture and is suited to still 3D Architectural Images . Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the camera if you wish to animate the scene. If the viewpoint changes in any direction the view doesn’t change, which is not a visually appealing result.

The costs to acquire 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography due to additional time, extra equipment and further manipulation in the studio. The increased visual scope gives excellent results for animations as when the 3D camera turns within the scene the view changes with it. We can take either 2D or 360-degree images for you at an additional fee or you can supply your own.
