Interior Scenes as Architectural Renderings

Archiform 3D's careful and meticulous approach to interior Architectural Renderings gives a life-like result. We model our furniture in 3D using photographs and fabric samples as guides. The viewer’s perspective needs to portray a degree of intimacy and show more to the living space than just a bed.And we like the lighting to show either a place to go to sleep or wake up; night-time or morning time.

While they may be simplistic in reality, soft bed covers and pillows are difficult to perfect in a Architectural Rendering.They need to be soft and flowing with small imperfections, wrinkles and bumps. 3D Modelling and CAD is best at straight edges and regular curves, so a finished bed is more difficult to produce than most other household items. Applying the textures to the bed covers can also be challenging, especially is there is a shape or pattern that must be maintained evenly over the 3D Mesh.

Combining Real Views with Architectural Renderings

You may have noticed that the actual view from this property is incorporated into the Architectural Rendering. There are two methods to achieve this; as a flat 2D image applied to the background or as a 360-degree panoramic photograph wrapped around like a drum. The two techniques affect the overall price to do the job, not in 3D Rendering costs but in acquiring the views.

The lower photography costs make flat 2D backgrounds appealing for still, fixed position Architectural Renderings .The drawback is that this method shows no motion or change in view within an Animation. If the viewpoint changes in any direction the view doesn’t change, which is not a visually appealing result.
