3D Renderings
are a combination of many complex 3D elements.
Simulating landscaping is a particular challenge to our artist.
Every plant is built in detailed 3D and randomized to simulate reality.
This may takes considerably more of the artist's time and computer resources but the finished results are amazing.
You see this effort the a lot in 3D walk-through video.
Photo-Perfect standards require this attention.
Real Views in 3D Scenes
This scene has the real view from the actual project, which is a superb way of displaying what a buyer will actually see from a new condo, office or home.
We do this as either a flat 2D image in the background or as a complete 360-degree panorama encompassing the 3D Scene.
Both techniques have their advantages.
A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs.
The downfall to this method is that it shows no motion or change in within an Animation.
If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.
The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions.
This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly.
