Interior Scenes as
3D Architectural Renderings
Archiform 3D's approach to interior
3D Renderings
gives a detailed and life-like result.
Each piece of furniture is carefully modelled from originals and includes original fabric samples.
Almost any decorator item can then be added to the scene, such as lamps, light fittings and curtains.
3D lighting effects are then added to warm and enhance the scene.
The culmination of these creates
3D Architectural Renderings
and walk-through animations that are often dramatically better than reality.
What is worth remembering is that our walk-through animations of these interior scenes is to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our still
3D Renderings
.
Architectural Renderings
of Living Room ScenesInternal living room
3D Renderings
and walk-through animations, like of family rooms, grand salons and lounges are the most time consuming of an apartment, condominium unit or house. They contain more varied detail, are larger rooms, often cover more than one living space and are the focus of day-to-day living within the home.
They are also the hardest for a client or designer to translate into a brief, therefore difficult for our 3D Artists to get right first time.
Furniture and accessories can also be painstaking to model in these rooms.
This is because of the complex shapes and curves that form items like sofas and lounge chairs, which require effort to get both the shape and textures perfect.
This also holds true for some of the more complex light fittings, which not only have ornate shapes but also have many different ways of casting light.
What is exciting about these 3D Scenes is the scope for creativity.
This is in the creativity that the 3D Artist often must express for small finishes and the details that complete a rendering or animation.
The difference between a 3D Image
that you would admire and one that you feel you could really live in is the same difference between a passing conversation and an actual sale.
Combining Real Views with
3D Renderings
You will see in this 3D Rendering
that the real view from this scene is incorporated. There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama.
Both techniques have their advantages.
A simple 2D image put into the scene is the easiest to do, as the single shot can be taken in many different inexpensive ways.
The drawback is that this method shows no motion or change in view within an Animation.
If a 3D virtual camera changes direction it becomes obvious that the backdrop is merely a flat face.
The costs to acquire 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography due to additional time, extra equipment and further manipulation in the studio. This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly.
Archiform 3D has the necessary equipment and skill to take both panoramic and flat view shots. You can also have these pictures done by someone else.
