They have more features, are bigger rooms, usually cover more than one living space and are the center of everyday living in the home. There are so many possibilities within these rooms so they are often the hardest for a designer to explain and detail in a brief.

Furnishings in these rooms can also be difficult to create in 3D. The detailed free-flowing curves and fabrics of some furniture pieces, such as sofas, can be surprisingly difficult to model perfectly in 3D. This is also true for items such as plants and sculptures, which have fine detail and are sometimes a major part of a 3D Rendering or 3D Animation.

3D artists can get some pleasure out of these scenes, despite the complexity. This is found in the need for creative input and direction to enhance a scene’s mood or style.Small and large details such as vases, books, window treatments and personal items make a scene look more like a home.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

This 3D Rendering shows the actual view from the scene. There are 2 choices in how we do this; a simple 2D image put behind the scene or a 360-degree panorama encompassing the 3D Scene.Both techniques have their advantages.

A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs. Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the 3D Camera if you wish to animate the scene. If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The costs to acquire 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography due to additional time, extra equipment and further manipulation in the studio.This technique yields the best best quality result for 3D Animations as the view adjusts to the aspect of the Virtual Camera. You can provide us with the images for the views or we can do the location shoot for you for an additional fee.
