3D Renderings of Interior Scenes

Our interior 3D Images are detailed and rich in quality. We model each piece of furniture in 3D from just pictures of the originals and apply scanned fabric from real-world samples. Decorator and small accessories are also created in 3D and placed thoughfully within the scene. We then light the scene to enhance realism and create dramatic effects.

Living Room 3D Architectural Renderings

Grand salons and lounge rooms are the most intensive scenes to create within an apartment, condominium or house. They aren’t just larger rooms but they contain more varied detail and sometimes extend into other living areas. They are also the hardest for a client or designer to translate into a brief, therefore difficult for our 3D Artists to get right first time.

The nature of the furniture within these rooms makes them difficult to model in 3D. Pieces such as lounge chairs, sofas and other furniture with soft curves and complex fabric textures can be difficult to model perfectly. This can also be particularly true for pieces such as indoor plants and sculptures, which have minute detail but are often a major part of a Rendering or 3D Animation.

But despite the complexity, these scenes can be exciting for the 3D Artist. This is in the creativity that the 3D Artist often must express for small finishes and the details that complete a rendering or animation. Drapes, personal items, pictures and other small items make a room look like it isn’t just a display but it could actually be lived in.

Combining Real Views with 3D Architectural Renderings

You will see in this 3D Architectural Rendering that the real view from this scene is incorporated.There are two methods to achieve this; as a flat 2D image applied to the background or as a 360-degree panoramic photograph wrapped around like a drum. Both methods have advantages ranging from a lower price to a better result in 3D Animations.

A flat 2D image put into the background is the easiest to do, as it is one shot that can be taken in many different ways and often costs less due to reduced location costs. But when used in animations a 2D image doesn’t show any motion with the 3D Camera. If the viewpoint changes in any direction the view doesn’t change, which is not a visually appealing result.

The location and photography costs to get 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography as the final result sees everything in the horizontal plane. The increased visual scope gives excellent results for 3D Animations as when the 3D Camera turns within the scene the view changes with it. We can take either 2D or 360-degree images for you at an additional fee or you can supply your own.

Most times we produce and invoice by the scene produced, not by the Architectural Renderings taken from it. We have discounts for just one image of a scene, but getting a series of 3D Architectural Renderings gives better value for money.
