3D Renderings
of Interior Scenes
Archiform 3D's approach to interior
3D Renderings
gives a detailed and life-like result.
Each piece of furniture is carefully modelled from originals and includes original fabric samples.
Smaller items like pictures, curtains, vases and decorator items are then added to the scene.
After the furniture and accessories are added we carefully light the scene for mood and effect.
The carefull combining of these skills often give
3D Renderings
that are more appealing than actual photographs.
What is worth remembering is that our fly-through 3D animations of these interior scenes is to the same Photo-Perfect 3D quality as our still
3D Renderings
.
Living Room
3D Renderings
Of all interior apartment or house scenes, it is the living rooms, such as the lounge, grand salon and family rooms, that take up the most time.
They’re not just bigger spaces but they have more detail and often extend into other living areas.
The multiple levels and types of decoration and possibilities for colors and coverings means that these rooms are hard for a client to describe in a document.
Furniture and accessories can also be hard work to model in 3D within these areas.
Pieces such as lounge chairs, sofas and other furniture with soft curves and complex fabric textures can be difficult to model perfectly.
This is also true for items such as plants and sculptures, which have fine detail and are sometimes a major part of a 3D Rendering or 3D Animation.
But despite the detailing and painstaking effort, these scenes can be enjoyable for the 3D Artist or technician.
This is in the creativity that the 3D Artist often must express for small finishes and the details that complete a rendering or animation.
It’s often the final personal touches that are the difference between a scene that you may just admire or one that you would buy and live in.
Real Views in 3D Scenes
This scene has the real view from the actual project, which is a superb way of displaying what a buyer will actually see from a new condo, office or home.
There are two ways that this can be done; as a flat 2D picture applied to the background or as a 360-degree panorama.
Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages, ranging from a lower price to a better result in 3D Animations.
A simple 2D photographic background costs less to capture and is suited to still
3D Renderings
.
The drawback is that this method shows no motion or change in view within an Animation.
If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.
The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions.
This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly.
Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
