3D Images
of Living Rooms
Of all interior apartment or house scenes, it is the living rooms, such as the lounge, grand salon and family rooms, that take up the most time.
They aren’t just larger rooms but they contain more varied detail and sometimes extend into other living areas.
There are many varied possibilities within these spaces so they are often the most difficult for a designer to communicate in a brief. Furnishings in these spaces can also be painstaking to model in 3D.
The detailed free-flowing curves and fabrics of some furniture pieces, such as sofas, can be surprisingly difficult to model perfectly in 3D.
And items such as light fittings and window treatments can also be extremely time consuming.
3D artists can get some pleasure out of these scenes, despite the complexity.
This is in the creativity that the 3D Artist often must express for small finishes and the details that complete a rendering or animation.
A book, candle, rose or pillow in the right place and tell a small story on it’s own.
