3D Renderings of Interiors

Archiform 3D's interior Architectural Renderings and 3D Animations are high-quality and detailed. We model our furniture in 3D using photographs and fabric samples as guides. Decorator and accessories are also modelled in 3D and distributed carefully throughout the rooms. After the furniture and accessories are added we carefully light the scene for mood and effect.

The thoughtful combination of these skills often give 3D Renderings that are better looking than real photographs. What is unique is that we render 3D fly-through videos of interior scenes to the same Photo-Perfect quality as our still 3D 3D Images .

Creating Bedrooms as Architectural Renderings

The bedroom is the most intimate and private part of a home, so we try to make it look like a place that you can imagine yourself sleeping in. By working on Camera Angles, illumination, detailing and the overall mood of the scene we achieve this. The camera angle needs to show a degree of artistic intimacy and preferably show more to the scene than just the bed. We like to create an ambience to the scene that resembles soft morning light or a romantic night.

While simple in real life, bedding and pillows are complex to make in 3D Architectural Renderings . To look real and inviting they need to have the small bumps, wrinkles and softness of the real thing. These random waves and bumps are harder to model with 3D software than more rigid pieces of furniture like a nightstand. Applying the fabric textures to the bed can also be difficult as they may form part of an overall pattern that needs to remain intact.

Real Views in 3D Scenes

Looking from this viewpoint you may notice that the real view is in the background. We can do this in 2 ways; a flat 2D image applied behind the 3D Scene or a 360-degree image wrapped around the 3D Model. Both techniques have their advantages.

A simple 2D image put into the scene is the easiest to do, as the single shot can be taken in many different inexpensive ways. Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the 3D Camera if you wish to animate the scene.If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.

The 360-degree photography method costs more due to location and time, as each finished shot is a view in all the horizontal directions. The increased visual scope gives excellent results for 3D Animations as when the 3D Camera turns within the scene the view changes with it. We can take either 2D or 360-degree images for you at an additional fee or you can supply your own.
