Interior Scenes as
Pieces of 3D Art
Archiform 3Ds interior scene
Pieces of Architectural 3D Art
and virtual tours are of superb quality and detail.
The furniture is created from pictures of the originals, translated into 3D and textured with your choice of colors and fabrics.
Decorator and small accessories are also created in 3D and placed thoughfully within the scene.
After the furniture and accessories are added we carefully light the scene for mood and effect.
The culmination of these creates
Pieces of 3D Artwork
and fly-through videos that are often dramatically better than reality.
What is noteworthy is that we create fly-through animations of interior scenes to the same quality as our
3D Images
.

of Living Rooms
Internal living room images and fly-through videos, like of family rooms, grand salons and lounges are the most time consuming of an apartment, condominium unit or house.
They’re not just bigger spaces but they have more detail and often extend into other living areas.
There are many varied possibilities within these spaces so they are often the most difficult for a designer to communicate in a brief.
Furnishings in these rooms can also be difficult to create in 3D.
Pieces such as lounge chairs, sofas and other furniture with soft curves and complex fabric textures can be difficult to model perfectly.
This also holds true for some of the more complex light fittings, which not only have ornate shapes but also have many different ways of casting light.
3D artists can get some pleasure out of these scenes, despite the complexity.
This is found in the need for creative input and direction to enhance a scene’s mood or style.
A book, candle, rose or pillow in the right place and tell a small story on it’s own.
Kitchen
Pieces of 3D Art
People are often surprised by how much effort goes into creating
Architectural Renderings
of kitchens.
The detailing and finishes, which can be varied and unusual, must be perfectly shown.
This is due to the fact that unlike living rooms they are built into the development and therefore a critical part of the sale.
You need to provide elevations and plans of the cabinets for us to create the structure in 3D.
We also require specifications such as the doors, the fixtures, built-in appliances and all surfaces.
Personalised and small decoration items are then added to the scene to bring life and warmth.
Combining Real Views with
Computer Generated Images
Looking outwards from the viewpoint in this
Architectural 3D Artwork
you may notice that the actual view is incorporated.
There are 2 choices in how we do this; a simple 2D image put behind the scene or a 360-degree panorama encompassing the scene.
Both techniques have their advantages.
A simple 2D image put into the scene is the easiest to do, as the single shot can be taken in many different inexpensive ways.
Unfortunately using this method means the view cant move with the camera if you wish to animate the scene.
If the viewpoint changes in any direction the view doesn’t change, which is not a visually appealing result.
The costs to acquire 360-degree panoramic images are higher than normal photography due to additional time, extra equipment and further manipulation in the studio.
The increased visual scope gives excellent results for animations as when the 3D camera turns within the scene the view changes with it.
Archiform 3D has the necessary equipment and skill to take both panoramic and flat view shots. You can also have these pictures done by someone else.
