To us a bedroom scene must look like somewhere you could sleep in, so we aim for this when we first begin 3D modelling and laying out the room.
To achieve this we work with the Camera Angles, the small details and the lighting.
The camera angle should show a familiar approach to the bed and possibly something appealing, like a balcony or view through a window.
We like to create an ambience to the scene that resembles soft morning light or a romantic night. The bedding and pillows are the hardest thing to create in a bedroom 3D Architectural Rendering
.
The soft irregularities and softness of a real bed need to be replicated.The difficulty comes in that computers are best at straight lines and regular curves, so a wavy, irregular, almost organic shape is harder to create.
Applying the fabric patterns to the bedding can also be challenging, as there is often a shape that must be maintained over the soft 3D Mesh.
