3D Renderings
of Interior Scenes
With detailed and life-like results, Archiform 3D's approach to interior
3D Renderings
and 3D Animations pushes the technology curve.
Each item of furniture is carefully modelled in 3D from pictures or catalogues and includes representations of original fabric samples.
Smaller items like pictures, curtains, vases and decorator items are then added to the scene.
Lighting is then added with attention to realism, shadowing and highlights.
We arent tied to the limitations of traditional photography, so our
3D Renderings
often look better than reality.
Unique to Archiform 3D is our ability to do fly-through animations to the same Photo-Perfect standard as our still
3D Renderings
.
How We Create
3D Renderings
of Bedrooms
Our goal with bedroom renderings is to create a room that you can imagine yourself really sleeping and waking in.
We achieve this by planning Camera Angles, detailing for realism and lighting with mood.
The viewer should see a familiar approach to the room and bed, with possibly something appealing, like a balcony, window or an inspiring view.
And we like to lighting to show either sleeping time or waking up, so a low light dancing past the blinds is often a lovely morning touch.
The soft parts of a bed such as the covers and pillows are the most painstaking items to model in a bedroom 3D Rendering
or animation.
To look real and inviting they need to have the small bumps, wrinkles and softness of the real thing.
This becomes difficult in that computers and 3D software are best at straight edges and normal curves, so a free form, almost organic shape is harder to model.
Applying the fabric textures to the bed can also be difficult as they may form part of an overall pattern that needs to remain intact.
Real Views in 3D Scenes
This 3D Rendering
has the actual view from the project, which is a perfect way of displaying what a purchaser of a pre-construction condo, office or home will actually see.
There are 2 choices in how we do this; a simple 2D image put behind the scene or a 360-degree panorama encompassing the 3D Scene. Both techniques have advantages and disadvantages, ranging from a lower price to a better result in 3D Animations.
A simple 2D photographic background costs less to capture and is suited to still
3D Renderings
.
But when used in animations a 2D image doesn’t show any motion with the 3D Camera.
If a Virtual Reality camera changes viewpoint it will become apparent that the backdrop is merely a flat billboard effect.
The 360-degree panoramic method costs more in location and photography, as each shot is a complete view in all the horizontal directions.
This method gives the best result for 3D Animations as when the Virtual Camera turns the view adjusts accordingly.
Archiform 3D is often engaged to take the panoramic shots as we have the equipment and cameras necessary.
