Interior Design Rendering case study
Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
We worked very closely withthe developer and interior designer on
this project, acheiving stunning interior design renderings of
a world class project. Overall we created renderings of the lobby,
amenities and the penthouse. We also created fly-through architecural
video, all of which can be found on the gallery page for this
project (Castlebar).
Step one - the interior shell
We worked with the architect and interior designer to build
the 3D model of the interiors. This was an extensive process
due to the combination of design practices. We worked from CAD
files that were emailed to us.
Step 2 - the design brief
This project was "fluid". As we prepared new interior design
renderings they were assesed and design changes were made. This
meant that our renderings became part of the overall design process.
Keep in mind that we charge by the hour, on top of our base fee,
to work this way. It was hard work but the results are stunning.
Step 3 - proofing and final renderings
As the designer became happy with the final ideas they were
presented the property developer. Another round of changes were
made and then we proceeded to fly-through animations.
What they did with the interior design renderings
The renderings were used for marketing collateral, and we produced
a DVD for the sales suite.
