3D Virtual reality scene calatogue released
Archiform
3D has just released it’s latest advancement in 3D
virtual reality services for the property industry.
Since the emergence of this type of work there has been a constant struggle between timeframes, quality and price, with no easy solution to bring the best of all three together. The largest obstruction to the process has been gathering a brief for the 3D artists and managing the proofing stage. Both often contribute to far more time than the actual process of creating virtual reality scenes alone. And the process is notorious for becoming a perpetual roundabout of alterations and changes in design direction.
Steve
Bell, and the team at Archiform 3D have been caught up in
more endless loops than they would ever like to remember.
Not only does a rogue virtual reality project cause clients
to become anxious but also they burn up resources. There
would appear to be no real value in the process other than
a designer’s satisfaction that they have done everything possible to ensure their interpretation of “perfection”.
“The simple fact is that if you show an interior designer a picture they will absolutely, without doubt, make a change regardless of how many times they have already altered it before”, says Steve Bell. “If it was only a matter of picking up a cushion or detail and moving it a few inches to one side then there would be no problem. It’s
the complexity of reprocessing and the delays that make this
an almost unacceptable process with 3D virtual reality.”
To
revolutionise the way high quality scenes are prepared, Archiform
3D has released a 100+ (and counting) page catalogue containing
scenes to suit all current styles of apartment and home furnishing.
Now a client needs only choose a scene that is appealing
for their project and we can have artwork done in record
time, avoiding the need for extensive proofing and the “ping-pong” effect.
Clients have made an overwhelming move to choosing from these
scenes and customising with colour. Both the briefing and
the proofing is considerably faster, therefore the final
presentation is complete in significantly less time than
previously.
Having completed extensive work both in the USA and
Australia, Archiform 3D’s catalogue has a broad range
to suite most tastes. By cooperating with major furniture
and interior brands Archiform 3D is also extending the range
to contain the best of cutting edge interiors that may have
only been just released to the public.
There will always be projects that require an entirely new and customised furniture design, and Archiform 3D has no intention of ceasing this kind of work, but are now charging a small additional fee for the use of interior designers and customised furniture.
The current furniture layout can be downloaded here.
Archiform 3D is a world leader in 3D virtual reality scenes for the property industry and have brought production times and pricing to what is considered one of the most computational intense fields in the world. |
