Squeeze the size of your images, photos and renderings so you can email them

One of our greatest advances in communication, production and cost reduction is email. It's practically free, faster than any courier and the perfect way to deliver digital media. But there is one hurdle; the maximum allowable size of emails. Mail servers usually have a limit to how large an email can be, both for sending and receiving. This limit has been increased in time and is adequate for today's needs but there are some guidelines that need to be followed to get the larger attachments through. What we are mainly referring to is the scenario where a client wishes to send us images, such as view photography, color samples or finishes and the total size of the email exceeds either what their mail server can send or ours can receive.

To educate you completely we have broken this topic into sections:

Our goal is to ensure that you are able to get us the information you have at hand as quick as possible and at no cost to you or us. There is simply no need to spend money or lose time anymore. Similarly, we want you to be able to receive our 3D rendered images quickly and with no headaches.

CMYK and RGB colour formats relate to the way pixels of colour are recorded. CMYK records intensities of 4 colours: C-cyan, M-magenta, Y-yellow, K-key. "Key" is just another word for black. RGB records R-red, G-green, B-blue.

Printers require CMYK format for printing as it relates directly to the actual inks used in the the process.

All other technologies use RGB, which relates to how computer screens display images. All computer artwork can only be viewed and generated in RGB, with a simple conversion required to CMYK for mass production printing.

The average computer user will never need to get involved with anything relating to CMYK.
