In 2006, Archiform was proud to contribute to a design concept and proposal for the development of Harry's Island, a world-class resort experience on the island of Sentosa, Singapore. The theme was based on a fictitious traveller named Harry and explored an imaginative collection of destinations, experiences and hospitality concepts linked together by a strong narrative. The centerpiece of the development was a huge caldera, which served as the focal point of the resort.
Our team, led by Stephen Bell, spent considerable time in Singapore capturing the project on camera and video. This included unique location shoots that were captured using equipment and parts sourced on the fly. Despite being a favorite among the public, a more conservative proposal was ultimately chosen. Although a different proposal was ultimately selected, the project remains one of the most ambitious destination concepts undertaken by Archiform 3D.
